Morro Bay Family Dentistry respects your privacy. This page explains, in plain terms, what happens to information when you visit this website — and what does not happen.
This policy covers this website only. Your dental records and any protected health information are governed separately by our HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices, which we provide at the office and will send on request.
What this website does not do
Most of this policy is short because this site collects very little. Specifically:
- No advertising or analytics trackers. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta or Facebook pixel, no Google Ads or conversion tag, and no advertising network code of any kind.
- No session recording. We do not record, replay, or heat-map your visit, and we do not capture your keystrokes, mouse movement, or form entries.
- No third-party content. Every font, image, stylesheet, and script is served from our own domain. Loading a page does not disclose your visit to any outside content network, font service, or CDN.
- No cookies. This site sets no cookies and uses no browser storage to identify or follow you.
- No sale or sharing of personal information. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, as those terms are defined by California law. We never have.
What is collected
Like any website, this one runs on a web server, and that server keeps standard access logs. Our hosting provider (Vercel Inc.) maintains them on our behalf as our service provider. Those logs can include your IP address, your browser type and version, the page you requested, the date and time, and the page that referred you.
We use that information only to deliver the site, keep it secure and available, and diagnose errors. We do not use it to build a profile of you, we do not combine it with information from other sources, and we do not use it for advertising.
If you contact us
The email and phone links on this site open your own mail or phone app. The website itself does not collect, store, or transmit your message — nothing reaches us until you choose to send it. When you do email or call, we receive what you send us.
Please don't include detailed health information in email. Ordinary email is not a secure channel. Call us instead, or ask about a secure alternative.
Your California privacy rights
California residents have the right to know what personal information is collected and how it is used, to request deletion or correction of personal information, to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information, to limit the use of sensitive personal information, and not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
Because this site does not sell or share personal information and does not use it for targeted advertising, there is nothing to opt out of. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, it is honored automatically — there is no tracking here to switch off.
To make any request, contact us using the details below. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Children
This website is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them through this site.
Changes to this policy
If we add anything to this site that changes what is collected — analytics, a scheduling widget, an embedded map — we will update this page before or at the same time, and change the effective date below. We keep prior versions.
