Dr. Sorina Ratchford earned her Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Loma Linda University, graduating top of her class in 2012, and a certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry from the University of the Pacific in San Francisco. Home, since 2014, is Morro Bay; her practice, Morro Bay Family Dentistry.
Service anchors her philosophy of care. President of the Central Coast Dental Society, she belongs to the American Dental Association, California Dental Association, American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry, and Academy of General Dentistry, where she is pursuing fellowship. She gives back through the Rotary Club and dental mission trips abroad, Kenya's Masai Mara among them.
Away from the office, she enjoys family time, travel, and snowboarding. Her husband, Forest, is a vital part of the practice; they have a daughter, Ellis June, and two Boston terriers, Lily and Olive.
